# How does an Arithmic MSP work?

Once a user deposits into an MSP, they can choose to receive one of 2 tokens that represent their participation. These tokens on the Arithmic Network are called Hyper Staked Tokens (HSTs) and their two types are Stable HST (sHST) and Equity HST (eHST).
